Figure Drawing

Figure Drawing.jpg

This class has a small student to teacher ratio in order to provide individualized instruction (maximum of 8 students). It explores human anatomy, proportion, and principles of movement and form. Students will capture the gesture, expression, and mood of each live model that performs short and long poses. They will express their own interpretation of the figure using mediums, such as charcoal, ink, chalk pastel, watercolor, acrylic paint, etc. This advanced class is great preparation for college portfolios as well as college level figure drawing. Prior drawing experience (not necessarily in figure drawing) is a prerequisite.
