Foundation Program (5th-7th grade)
This is designed for students who are interested in learning art in a group environment. Students will learn basic art skills in both 2D and 3D art: drawing, painting, sculpture design, and mixed media. Mediums such as pencil, charcoal, ink, colored pencil, acrylic, watercolor, and gouache will be used.
While we teach techniques and concepts (such as color theory, composition, and line quality), our goal is to provide comprehensive art education tailored to the individual student. We encourage students to participate in regional and national art contests to further realize their potential. We also have a yearly student art exhibition for the general public.
We accept students in grades 5th-7th. Prior art experience is not required. Classes are once a week and 2 hours long.
Please check our class schedule below.
New students are required to undergo a one-hour evaluation before starting art class.
This session is conducted one-on-one with the head instructor.
Following the evaluation, students will receive personalized feedback along with class recommendations tailored to their skill level and goals.
The evaluation fee is $180. Contact us at (408) 255-4534 to set up an appointment.
