College Prep Program (8th-12th grade)
This is dedicated for high school and college transfer students who are preparing portfolios for entrance into art colleges and universities. Students who are interested in non-art related majors/fields can also enroll as an extracurricular activity.
We recommend students begin the program by freshman year of high school to position themselves favorably by senior year (middle school students will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis). Students will receive individual consultations to plan portfolio pieces based on their objectives.
Many former students have gained entrance into top universities and art colleges, received scholarships and grants, and have gone on to pursue successful careers in the art field.
New students are required to undergo a one-hour evaluation before starting art class.
This session is conducted one-on-one with the head instructor.
Following the evaluation, students will receive personalized feedback along with class recommendations tailored to their skill level and goals.
Portfolio II evaluation: $250
Portfolio I evaluation: $180
**Portfolio consultation is also offered to students not enrolled in Rainbow’s program.
